We’ve missed sharing your entertainment experiences with you, and have been looking forward to the welcoming you back to make new memories together again at Royal River Casino & Hotel.

Everyone’s health and well-being remains our highest priority, and that means things will look a little different as we reopen. We are constantly monitoring the situation and have modified our property to ensure that we are operating in a way that keeps you and our team members safe.

Our number one priority is protecting the health and safety of our guests, team members, and community. So while our doors may have been closed, behind the scenes we have been diligently cleaning and sanitizing our property and creating enhanced health and safety protocols with expert help from FSST Tribal Health Officials.

We are truly grateful for you, all of our guests, and our valued team members. The time apart has been challenging, which is all the more reason to celebrate being together once again. We are excited to welcome you back.

We are following social distancing practices everywhere. Watch for specific reminders on the gaming floor at ATMs, ticket redemption machines, promotions kiosks, players club, casino cage, snack bar, river’s bend restaurant, gift shop and hotel.

We are frequently sanitizing high touch areas using proven products that kill viruses and bacteria, and have enhanced cleaning protocols property-wide.

We follow safe food handling practices and sanitize all food and beverage equipment. We have suspended the operations of the buffet at this time for your safety.

Everyone’s health and safety is our first and highest priority. Following the guidance of public health officials regarding COVID-19, we temporarily closed Royal River Casino & Hotel on April 1, 2020 and will resume modified operations on May 29, 2020.

During the closure, we deep cleaned and disinfected all areas of our properties, including back-of-house areas. We will continue to use enhanced chemical disinfectants to sanitize high touchpoints (tables, chairs, door handles/knobs, light switches, countertops, faucets, sinks, etc.) after every interaction or multiple times per shift. Games, restrooms, lobbies, and other high traffic areas will also be disinfected frequently. Each department will be trained on proper sanitizing techniques and follow a rigorous sanitizing protocol.

We will take several measures to maintain social distancing, including but not limited to:

  • Signage and floor graphics indicating acceptable social distancing will be placed throughout the property.
  • Occupancy limits will be enforced and admittance will not be allowed if facilities have reached capacity.
  • Seating will be limited at table game.
  • Food and beverage options will be limited. The buffet will remain closed.
  • Back-of-house social distancing protocols will be provided for team members, including:
    • Working from home where possible
    • Reconfiguring furniture to meet social distancing guidelines (offices, breakrooms, reception areas, etc.)
    • Staggering schedules
    • Using electronic communications/meetings where possible (limiting in-person interactions)

We have created the Royal River Casino & Hotel COVID-19 Health and Sanitation Protocol Program with extensive protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members, including, but not limited to:

  • Entry points into the building will be limited.
  • Face mask usage will be required for all team members and vendors. Masks will also be available for guests.
  • We will follow a specific protocol to address anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 or reporting a positive test.
  • Barriers will be installed in areas with face-to-face interaction, including table games and slot machines.
  • Team members will be required to follow handwashing policy guidelines.
  • Sanitizing stations will be available upon entry and spread throughout the property.

Guest parking will be available in the main parking lot. The main casino entrance and will be open. Valet will remain closed temporarily.

River’s Bend Restaurant will be open to menu ordering only. The buffet will be temporarily closed. The snack bar will remain temporarily closed.

The hotel will reopen on May 29, 2020. The rooms will be sanitized and staff will follow safety precautions. The pool area with remain temporarily closed.

We will follow an enhanced cleaning protocol including, but not limited to:

  • Touchpoints such as doors, handles, remotes, tablets, thermostat, light switches, hangers, etc. will be disinfected with an approved cleaner.
  • We will dedicate team members each day to clean assigned areas such as elevator buttons and rails, ice and vending machines, door handles, stair rails, etc.
  • Stayovers will not be cleaned and team members will not enter occupied rooms. Towels and garbage will be refreshed upon request.
  • The following items will be removed: magazines, table tents, pens, notepads, bed scarves, decorative pillows and extra blankets. Cups will all be disposable.

Vouchers that expired during our temporary closure can be redeemed up to 60 days from their current expiration dates.

For the health and safety of our valued guests and team members, we kindly ask that you:

  • Bring a mask to wear while on property or Royal River Casino & Hotel can provide you one. A mask is not mandatory.
  • Bring hand sanitizer if possible. Royal River Casino & Hotel will also have hand sanitizer stations around the property.
  • Maintain social distance from other guests and team members. Remember 6 feet is the new close!
  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water at least once per hour.
  • Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms, have tested positive, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Anyone presenting symptoms will be asked to leave the property.
